I’ve walked out of presentations like that in the past. Like you, I would not protest to the room about how inappropriate it is but for me it is because I do not believe that the world will change by attempting to change the minds of people like this. Instead, we must reject and voice our disgust like you have here in a well articulated and considerate way.

Well said, esp. the “embrace this storm”. Silence/acquiesence is what the status-quo blow-hards want, that’s how they keep things from changing. Good on you and everyone who won’t let some “Rock Star” jerks define what the norm is, “how things are.”
